George Manyumwa is the Deputy Director General for Zimbabwe National Parks & Wildlife Authority. He was the Group Operation Director for Rainbow Tourism Group (Zimbabwe & Mozambique). George has been a Hospitality General Manager in the hotel industry for the two leading hospitality groups (Rainbow Tourism Group & African sun Ltd. He has worked in Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, Namibia and Mozambique. He was also the Group General Manager for Protea Hotels in Namibia and also managing a Hotel in Ethiopia in Hawassi, under the same group. In 2000 he was awarded the best Operator Restaurants award with lnnscor Ocean Basket Zimbabwe. He was also awarded the General Manager of the year in 2000 for African Sun hotels. George was nominated as one of the top twenty Outstanding Man in business for the year 2015-Special recognition in good hospitality management in Zimbabwe. He sits in several Boards currently as Chairman of Human Resources Committee for Telone, Board Member of Legacy Airlines, Board Chairman for ParksMed Health Fund and Board Member of Matusadona Conservation Trust. He has held several portfolios such as the President of Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe (HAZ) 2016-2018, Tourism Councillor for Nyanga Rural District Council 2006, chairman for Nyanga Tourism Association, Board member for Nyanga Hospital in 2007, Board Chairman for Travel Media 2008-2012 and Vice Board Chairman for Butterfly NGO 2010-2016.

He is a polished operations and Marketing Executive with rich and holistic experience in Tourism and Hospitality Management, leadership and unprecedented Business development Strategies. He has mentored a lot of successful Tourism ambassadors and Managers in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

He holds an  honorary  Doctorate  of Management Specialising in Hospitality & Tourism Management (Honoris Causa) (Commonwealth University), Master Class Certificate in Business Management and Leadership (London Graduate School), Masters in Business Administration (Zimbabwe Open University), Higher National Diploma in Hotel Management (Hotel School Bulawayo Polytechnic), Food and Beverage Management Certificate.
