Also known as Francis Kalwiji is the Finance & Administration Controller for Iona National Park. He has wide experience in finance & administration having worked with various organizations such as the UNDP, BAT, Geokinetics Inc., Hasan International and many others. Francisco’s interest in nature stemmed from his early childhood when he would accompany his dad (who was constituency chairman and later on a founding member of the Northwestern Province Bee keeping Association) in safeguarding the local reserve forest that still exists up to today in Zambia’s Chavuma district in an area called Kalombo. Though his eyes were set on one day being a game ranger, he did not realize his dream not until September 2020 when African Parks called upon him to take-up the position of Finance & Administration Controller. Francisco is an alumni of Duke University & Marymount California University (both in the USA) where he did his graduate studies. He is also a college graduate of the University of Zambia.
