Emma was born and raised in Australia until she moved to Greenwich, Connecticut (CT) with her family in 1983. She attended Greenwich Academy and received a BA from Northwestern University in 1991. Emma worked as a fashion editor and stylist before starting Emma Jane Pilkington, Fine Interiors (EJPFI) in 1998. EJPFI is a boutique design firm based in New York and Greenwich, CT. At a very young age, Emma formed a close bond with animals. As a lifelong animal advocate, Emma is committed to the conservation of threatened species and their habitats. She is honored to serve on the US African Parks Board. Emma serves on the Advisory Committee for the Edible Academy at the New York Botanical Garden. Emma is a founding member of the Fairfield Committee at WCS and she is a member of the WCS Council.
