Elistin integrated conservation in 2015 with the study on improving agricultural practices to reduce devastation in the Plateaux-Bateke and before supporting a master's degree. In 2016 he was recruited to work in the Plateaux-Bateke in South Congo as an assistant for alternative activities and Human-Wildlife Conflict, before joining the WWF teams for the ETIC Project in 2018 where he was community liaison manager for the management of conflicts between communities and Human-Wildlife Conflict. Elistin has extensive experience in conflict management around protected areas and has a good knowledge of the context of Human-Wildlife Conflicts. Elistin is the Human-Wildlife Conflict Manager at Odzala-Kokoua National Park since 2020.
