Edson was born in Luanda, Angola to a family of humble farmers, He holds a B.S in Accounting (Honours) from the University of Namibia and is currently pursuing an MBA with South Wales University. Edson began his career in Namibia, working as a senior manager for a small retail company during a period of rapid growth in which the company quickly spread across the country geographically to become an industry leader. Edson returned to Angola and joined Iona National Park in early 2021, beginning his current position late October that same year and playing a crucial role in integrating the financial and administration planning functions in the park’s early stages.
