Christophe LEMEE was born in France in 1955 but spent the majority of his childhood and youth abroad, particularly in Africa. Graduated from a French business school, he worked for a decade with a French agricultural group established in most francophone African countries. From 1990 until 2012 he managed his own safari company in the Central African Republic (CAR) while participating in numerous conservation projects. Christophe brings a wealth of knowledge in protected area management to the W National Park team

Always ready for a new challenge, he joined the W National Park Priority Intervention Plan (PIP) in Benin as Project Coordinator in October 2019. At the end of the PIP, Christophe took over the Park Manager position and is acting since October 2020.
