Mathias did his professional experience at the National Office of Wood (ONAB) as Assistant to the Chief of the Participatory Supervision Unit before continuing in the public service as Head of the Communal Section of the Environment and Protection of the the Nature of the communes of Djidja, Bohicon and Allada. He has been assigned to Pendjari Park since 2015 (with CENAGREF), where he were Head of the Park Surveillance and Management Service. Currently, placed at the disposal of African Parks, Mathias assumes the function of  Law Enforcement Manager.
