Brian was born in Zimbabwe and began his career in conservation there, completing apprenticeships in operations, mechanics, and guiding. He has over 18 years of experience in national parks in Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Mozambique, working in a wide range of areas including safari guiding, anti-poaching, problem animal control work, operations, and tourism. Brian joined the Iona team as Field Operations Manager in December 2021.
