Antoine is a Belgian citizen who spent his entire childhood in Africa (Zaïre, Madagascar, Senegal, Mauritania and Niger). He became an Engineer in Forestry and Wildlife Management after completing a research project on game counts in Nazinga Game Reserve (Burkina Faso). Passionate about nature conservation and tracking, he gained a PhD in Zoology for his work on lion’s tracks. His fieldwork took place across various protected areas in South Africa (Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, Tembe Elephant Park and Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park). Antoine joined African Parks in 2018 in Odzala-Kokoua National Park (Republic of Congo), where he has been filling the position of Field Operations Manager since February 2019.
