Antoine Ede studied tropical biology and has several research experiences across Africa. He started with an internship in Benoue National park, Cameroon where he worked on inventory and identification of giraffe populations and then did his master thesis in Uganda on HWC and beehive fences. He later joined Max-Planck Institute in Gabon to work on a chimpanzee habituation program and was recruited by OKNP as HWC assistant manager in 2018. His background provides him with a global vision of African cultures and multidisciplinary skills, particularly in community development and conservation management.
