Alexis lives in Kenya. He is a qualified pilot with more than 43 years of experience in Africa and more than 11,000 flying hours including 4,300 on Ultra-Light and 1,600 on Tail Dragger. He is the owner of Air Adventures (www.air-adventures.fr), a company that offers personalized flying African Safaris. He created an Ultralight flying club in France and pioneered the use of microlight aircrafts in East Africa. Alexis has been involved in numerous aerial surveys and flying operations to support anti-poaching work. He conducted the first aerial survey of the Ennedi Natural and Cultural Reserve (ENCR) for African Parks in July 2016. He started working as a pilot for the ENCR in October 2019.
